BREAKING NEWS: Fed Leaves Rates Unchanged, Sees Them Staying Low for Two More Years
The Federal Reserve on Tuesday left its target on interest rates in the long-held range of 0-0.25%, and said it expects rates to stay at exceptionally low levels until at least mid-2013. The central bank also said downside risk to the economic outlook has increased and said it is prepared to employ other policy tools as needed.
