Does The Voice’s resident divorcee have marriage on her mind? The ink’s barely dry on the divorce decree that put the kibosh on her six year union with cosmetically-challenged producer Jordan Bratman, but snoops say Christina Aguilera is already hearing wedding belles again.
The 30-year-old singer’s been dating production assistant Matt Rutler for a few months — and even an embarrassing little DUI collar that sent them both to the slammer a few months ago wasn’t enough to scare her off the idea of spending the rest of her life with him, according to pals.
“Christina is telling us that she’d love to marry Matt,” a skeptical pal divulges to Star Magazine. “She is absolutely consumed with him and can’t stand to be apart for even a minute. She began talking about marriage within months of splitting with Jordan.”
Aguilera’s Rebound Guy isn’t winning rave reviews from the singer’s tight-knit circle of friends, which includes socialite Nicole Richie and celebrity spinner Samantha Ronson. The pint-sized pop mom began indulging in a spot of post-divorce partying shortly before her divorce from Bratman was finalized four months ago, and her friends say the messy new lifestyle has less to do with the bust-up of her marriage and more to do with her new man. Rutler richly enjoys the lifestyle he leads with Aguilera; leaving Xtina’s circle to question the young musician’s intentions with respected Grammy winner.
