Demi Lovato wowed in a short Burning Torch low cut halter dress at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Palladium, California on Sunday, August 14.
The 18-year-old made a triumphant return to stage post rehab at the event with the debut performance of her new track Skyscraper, which earned her a standing ovation.
Demi wore an edgy white number, accented with silver embellished detail in front. The dress had a fitted bodice with a revealing neckline and a full skirt that stopped well above her knees.
She accessorized with white Guiseppe Zanotti towering peeptoe platforms and oxidized jewels - Roseark oval drop earrings, Loree Rodkin cocktail ring each on both her hands and a stack of bangles in her left arm, also by Loree Rodkin.
Her hair was styled in a high wavy ponytail and a swept back bouffant top with few wisps framing her face. She finished off her hot looks with makeup from Joyce Bonelli. She wore thick liner on lids, pearl eye shadow and pink lip gloss.
Demi and Kim Kardashian together got their makeup from Joyce:
"Just finished *MAKEUP on @ddlovato & @KimKardashian #DSAwards" Joyce tweeted.
Minutes later Kim Kardashian posted a photo of herself with Demi, blowing kisses:
"Kisses from @Ddlovato and me! http://t.co/kbC5vKX"
Kim, who introduced Demi for her performance, earlier tweeted:
"Heading to go glam w my girl @ddlovato for the Do Something Awards! I'm introducing her to perform! Sooo proud of her!"
Demi changed into a Robert Rodriguez bird print plunging dress for her performance.
Demi's bold style statement comes days before her 19th birthday on August 20.
Demi was nominated for two awards - Do Something Charity Song and Do Something TV Star. She took home the award for Charity Song for her duet with Joe Jonas, "Make A Wave."
Other winners of the Jane Kynch hosted event included Justin Bieber, David Beckham, Will Ferrell and Olivia Wilde.
The awards show will air Thursday, August 18 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1.
