“I felt like a princess. Glam aside, that wasn’t our main goal. It was really about our family and each other. It was like we were in heaven,” newlywed Kim Kardashian says on the pages of this week’s PEOPLE, which features exclusive snaps of the reality vixen’s wedding photo album.
“Hi dolls! Just wanted to share my People magazine wedding cover! Saturday was completely magical and I couldn’t be happier right now. I’ll never forget our special day and I want to thank all my friends and family for making the day so special. I love you all. Make sure you go pick up a copy of People magazine now to see all the pics from inside my wedding!!” the buxom star of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians blogged this afternoon.
That’s right, PEOPLE isn’t posting the images online (Way to ensure that folks actually purchase the mag, Guys…), but we hear Kim and new hubby Kris Humphries raked in $1.5 million for shots of their hugely extravagant wedding in Montecito, California last Saturday. The preparations and the entire wedding were filmed and a two-part E! special due to air in early October.
As if an invitation to the wedding wasn’t enough, The Humphries are also Hot on the Glossies this week for gifting their 450 guests with extravagant gift bags. The couple indulged their family and friends with party bags packed with presents bearing the famous Kardashian logo the night before the ceremony. The TODAY Show’s Kathy Lee Gifford attended the weekend wedding and showed off some of her new gifts on the program.
Among the treats were thongs with the phrase “Kim Loves Kris” emblazoned on the rear. The bride’s new Kim Kardashian perfume and a scented candle in a box stamped with the “Kim and Kris “K” logo. Guests also received heart-shaped Krispy Kreme donuts, a voucher to shop at Kardashian’s shoe website, ShoeDazzle.com, and a bag full of Kim-themed nail polishes, including the shades: “Wel-Kim to the Family,” “Here’s Kim the Bride,” and “I Pink He’s the One.”
