Despite reservations expressed by two of their uncles, Michael Jackson's children want to fly to Wales for a planned tribute concert for their father.
The tribute is being organized by Global Live who have plans to live stream it to jumbotrons at several major US venues. Singers who have already given a nod to the concert include Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, Craig David, UK boy band JLS, and Alien Ant Farm.
More stars are expected to join the line up.
A rep for Michael Jackson's family told TMZ, "Paris, Blanket and Prince have been asked to attend the MJ Tribute in Wales and they have decided to go."
The rep added, "They are extremely excited and they're hoping they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech. Nothing has been set in stone yet for how they can help, but they really hope they can."
Michael's brother, Jermaine and Randy are opposed to concert because they consider its timing "inappropriate."
"We find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death."
Sources tell TMZ that Jermaine and Randy are fighting the children's decision to attend the tribute.
Michael's children - Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9 - have been active lately promoting their father's good name.
In a rare public appearance on Monday, August 8, the children donated some of Michael's artwork to Los Angeles' Children's Hospital. They were accompanied to the event by their grandmoth
