Dismissing reports that she and Ranveer Singh are an item, Sonakshi Sinha says she is single by choice and has time just for films.
In an interview with Mid Day, Sonakshi also lays into her detractors who have been suggesting that she is losing film roles because of weight issues, reminding them that she is signed up for six films!
Asked if Ranveer Singh had ever asked her out on a date, Sonakshi said, "No he hasn't. I have met him very few times at award functions and we have done a photo shoot together. That's about it."
Sonakshi and Ranveer sparked dating rumors after making laudatory comments about each other to the press.
Asked why she hadn't hooked up with Ranveer, now that he is single after having broken up with Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi said, "I am single by choice. I really have no time for men."
So is there any truth to the rumor that Anushka Sharma and Ranveer split because of Sonakshi's proximity with Ranveer?
"It is a very silly rumor. I have no proximity with him," replied Sonakshi.
Sonakshi denied that she and Ranveer are set to co-star in a film.
"Nothing has come along yet, but I would like to work with him."
