'Delhi Belly' will destroy our goodwill: Aamir

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan says that his forthcoming production venture 'Delhi Belly' will destroy the goodwill he has earned in the past decades with his family-oriented films.

'Aamir Khan Productions is known for its inspiring, clean, family entertainment. All that is about to change! 'Delhi Belly' has the potential of destroying, in a single stroke, all the goodwill we have built in the last 10 years,' Aamir wrote on his blog aamirkhan.com.

The film, co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, stars Imran Khan, Vir Das, and Kunal Roy Kapur and is slated to release July 1.

The actor-producer says that 'Delhi Belly' happened by accident.

'Akshat Verma, the writer, had been trying to reach me with no success but dropped off a copy of the script at my house. One day I was busy with some email and (my wife) Kiran, while waiting for me to finish, picked up the script lying on top of the pile of unread scripts. Couple of minutes later I heard her giggling, then laughing, then falling off the sofa choking with laughter and rolling on the ground,' wrote Aamir.

'Three hours later I was calling the number written on the first page of the script and asking for Jim Furgele and Akshat Verma. Forty-eight hours later Akshat and Jim were sitting in front of me,' he added.

Although both Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan were lauded for their work in their debut movies, I don’t see them go too far. Probably they will be there for another half a dozen movies, and slowly disappear from the screens and our memory.

Anyways, here they are holding their hands on the latest issue of Filmfare magazine. The title reads…“Sexy Trendsetters”. Hmmm…I seriously doubt that. I don’t see them change any trends in Bollywood.

Imran Khan is doing absolutely nothing. He should thank his uncle Aamir Khan for giving him a movie like Jaane Tu… otherwise he would have had a tough time to even get a supporting role in Bollywood. All you Imran Khan fans, sorry for being harsh, but the truth has to be told.

Coming to Sonam Kapoor… yeah, she is doing something – flaunting her body in designer clothes in photoshoots. Well, that ends all for Sonam Kapoor.

My advice to both Sonam and Imran… if you want to make it big in Bollywood, you need to have your own super style and unique acting abilities… or else… you will be soon seen weeping in every other scene. I mean you have to join the flop actor’s medium – TV Serials.

Sanjay Gadhvi is all set to start his new film. This one will be produced by Studio 18 and star Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif, who've been teamed for the very first time. It's a romantic/comedy and is aptly titled 7 DAYS IN PARIS, since Paris happens to be one of the most romantic cities in the world. Sanjay plans to begin filming in June-end/July, "because I want to capture the summer in Europe, " he reveals, "It's a uniquely structured script, but I can't reveal much at this stage." Sanjay plans to wrap almost 85% of the film in Paris, while the remaining portions will be filmed in London and Mumbai. "The only film to be shot so extensively in Paris was AN EVENING IN PARIS. Of late, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, DON and LONDON DREAMS were filmed in Paris as well, but not extensively, " Sanjay adds. Watch this space for further updates!

He finds inspiration in his uncle Aamir Khan, but Imran Khan says he is a big Shah Rukh Khan fan.

"I am a big Shah Rukh Khan fan. In fact, 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is one of my favourite films. It's one of the very quintessential Bollywood films - I just love it," Imran told IANS.

After having worked in romantic comedy "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na" and thriller "Kidnap", Imran is now working in action thriller "Luck" and comic caper "Delhi Belly".
