Shamita is one of the shetty sisters of bollywood and her elder sister Shilpa Shetty needs no introduction. Although her family hails from Mangalore, shamita was born and brought up in Mumbai. Shamita is a B.com graduate and also has done a diploma course in Fashion Design. Her parents Surendra and Sunanda Shetty run their own business of manufacturing tamper-proof caps for a pharmaceutical industry.
