Demi Lovato, who turns 19 on Saturday, August 19, celebrated the landmark on Thursday with a glam rock themed birthday bash at Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood.
It was a joint birthday celebration with Sober Is Sexy clothing designer Hanna Beth.
The birthday girls opted for a high energy but sober revelry, fueled by a Red Bull bar. They had separate cakes and their photos adorned the walls.
"There was no alcohol, but an open Red Bull bar," a reveler tells People magazine. "People who weren't dressed glam rock weren't admitted."
Guests at the private party included Derek Hough, Tiffany Thornton and Hunter Parrish.
Demi's stylist, Jenna Schubart, posted her photo with Demi at the party on Twitter.
Demi wore a low neckline Marco Marco dress with silver spike accents on the shoulder.
"Demi mingled with everyone and was such a sweetheart," the People source said. "She danced on stage with Hanna Beth, drank Red Bull and danced a lot."
