Godfather Kanye? Have Beyonce and Jay-Z asked their die-hard — albeit big-mouthed — bestie to be godfather of their baby?
Well, that depends on who you ask.
Loose-lipped rapper Kanye West — who recently shared wax with Hov on the critically-acclaimed rap collab, Watch the Throne — has been gushing about his reported upcoming role in the couple’s life: Godpoppa. It isn’t that much of a stretch; The Knowles-Carters are pretty tight with Kanye. As you’ll likely recall, Yeezy famously got himself into a whole heap of trouble for publicly dissing country cutie Taylor Swift because her “You Belong With Me” promo trumped Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” for trophy gold at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
A tipster tells Britain’s The Sun: “Kanye is as excited about the baby as Beyonce and Jay-Z. He’s been saying he’s going to be godfather and is absolutely thrilled. It will be a huge honor for him,” a source claimed.
One thing’s for certain, Baby Jayonce (See what we did there?) will have the best birthday parties in the history of celebrity babies!
