Katie Holmes looked effortlessly stylish in a plunging halter black dress from her own Holmes & Yang collection at the premiere of her new film, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, at the Walter Reade Theater in New York City on Monday, August 8.
Katie walked the black carpet solo, but husband Tom Cruise joined her later for the screening. She posed for photogs with her 11-year-old co-star Bailee Madison.
The 32-year-old hot mama rocked the back baring number showing her superbly toned arms and shoulders. The knee length dress had a plunging V-neckline and elasticized empire waist.
She accessorized with nude Alexandre Birman pumps, gold necklace with a Jennifer Meyer S pendant, dedicated to daughter Suri, and two charm bracelets in her left arm.
Her dark brown hair, styled in structured waves with a middle parting, framed her face, complimenting her luminous bronze skin.
Coral lipstick and peach blush further lit up her endearing smile. Trendy metallic nails rounded her perfectly put together look for the evening.
The film, a remake of a 1973 television movie that revolves around a young girl's struggle against the supernatural, is due for release on August 26.
Come November, Katie will have her last release of 2011, Jack & Jill, originally titled The Weird Personality. The film is a comedy that additionally stars Adam Sandler, Ben Zook and Steve Koren. The film is due in theaters on November 11.
