Deepika Padukone flaunted her toned sticks and arms in black shorts and body hugging black tank at Manish Malhotra's grand finale show at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011 on Sunday, August 21. The 25-year-old star was accompanied to the event at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kalina, Mumbai by her mother who was seen majorly bonding with Shabana Azmi.
Deepika skipped the signature Manish Malhotra sequins and glitter, preferring instead to torment the audience with her flawless figure in the short shorts and tucked in tank.
She accessorized with nude pumps, sparkling black messenger bag and a statement pendant necklace. 
Her hair was styled half up half down with a bouffant top. She wore fresh face makeup.
Deepika posed with Karan Johar, her Break Ke Baad co-star Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik.
She was seen cordially greeting Katrina Kaif at the start of the show; both were the front row guests of Manish Malhotra.
Manish Malhotra's older gang of Bollywood front seaters such as Rani Mukerji, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Urmila Mantodkar were replaced by younger faces - Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Avantika Malik, Chitrangada Singh and Amrita Arora.
